The industrial outskirts of the Belgian city Liège were the subject of the Seraing II project. Inspired by Robert Venturi's 'Learning from Las Vegas', the design of this four story building forms a reaction on its location: a vaste parking lot surrounded by immense industrial complexes.
Many handmade sketch models were used during the design process, for the development of the building volume, organisation, and use of materials.
